I have managed to get my hands on the Investment bank Bear Stearns report on eBay. I makes pretty interesting reading and I will try and summarise the most interesting parts
The report shows the despite the negative publicity which eBay received last year, the platform is going from strength to strength
- Global Quarter to date listing up 10% year on year
- 1% of seller account for 40% of negative buyer
- eBay hosted 43.4 million listing in the third week of 1Q07
- eBay Total Store + Core listing 64.5million. Of these 15.6million are listed on eBay express, a penetration of 24%
